How about Season 2 of Late Night Conversations?

I can't believe I haven't penned an entry since early January of this year...  I've drafted dozens of blog entries and have been meaning to upload a number of picture libraries - but life has been unusually busy.

What better way to come back, but to record a new episode of Late Night Conversations.

It's a back to basics kinda episode.  Just me... some silly observations on life and songs I'm listening to a lot lately.  Think of it as the start of "Season 2".

Late Night Conversations: Episode 14 - 1994

Recorded a special 2-part edition of Late Night Conversations with Terrible Ted this afternoon...  the theme is "1994", a year in music that made a big impact in our lives.

I hope you enjoy this as much as we did...

The night before we recorded the podcast, I randomly ran across a sticker that clearly had the 94 in it.  I don't know what this is to...  I don't know if it's a band, a clothing line, a skateboard company - if you happen to recognize it, …

Episode 13 - Late Night Conversations

Just posted the latest episode of Late Night Conversations...   the theme of the show is "Queer Music". A sorely unrepresented and undiscussed topic on the show, but that has been addressed after having on a very special guest to guide through this sensitive subject.

I can't thank Sonia enough for participating on the episode last night.  Especially in the song selection process... there were so many artists we wanted to include and looking back at the selected playlist, I'm so incredibly jealous of the diverse song selection she put together.  My picks feel predictable and stale...   I can already think of 5 other artists I wish I had featured instead.

I guess we'll have to do another episode...

Under the Influence - Episode 12, Late Night Conversations

Just recorded a very special episode of Late Night Conversations...  In addition to debuting Tony Weakland, we got to talk about musical artists that influenced our tastes and lives.

Looking incredibly forward to having Tony back for show that will exclusively look at Hip Hop.

Late Night Conversations - Episode 10, Dead Front Men

Dropped everything tonight to stay in and record an episode of Late Night Conversations with Terrible Ted.   The theme of the show is "Dead Front Men".... lead singers who passed away before they reached their 30s.

I'm really happy with the way this one turned out.  Recording kinks have been worked out for the most part.  We do it in one take and there's no post production of the show...  we just do it live - warts and all.

It felt like a typical conversation I would have with Ted by phone.

Episode 9 of Late Night Conversations

Posted the 9th installment of Late Night Conversations this evening and I'm making it a point to post an update about it on the main blog side...  I posted episode 7 and 8 last week and a few people didn't know I had new episodes up.

Enjoy.

Episode 5 & 6 of Late Night Conversations - UP

Finally got around to re-recording the 5th episode of Late Night Conversations this afternoon...  The lapse between shows was a result of me being busy with work / me fully recovering from a terrible cough / me trying to find a new way to record and post the show.

I think I've figured out a much more efficient way to record the shows and the audio glitches are all but gone.  I hope to crank these out with a little more ease...

UPDATE :  so easy that I recorded and posted the 6th Episode ALSO.

Episode 4 of Late Night Conversations drops...

After taking a couple of weeks off... I recorded the 4th installment of "Late Night Conversations -I'm OK, You're UK".

The format of the show is pretty simple...  I play 9 tracks and tell a few stories between the songs.   I've been meaning to work on getting this thing into a proper podcast and providing an iTunes link - I just haven't had the time to do so.  I think however I may be able to swing it this week.

The show turned out being a lot more revealing that I had originally intended...  I talked about a Vampire short story I haven't talked about publicly before.  I also shared a story about interviewing Adult. many, many, many years ago and squeezed in a silly story about Ned's Atomic Dustbin and UDMercy.

"Fingers Crossed"...  Anyhoo, you can listen to it by clicking the link above or listen to past shows by clicking here and scroll downward.

This is the simple set up that allows me to record the show.  You should do a show too and ask me to join.
