Episode 18: The Wedding Present

Rollie Agado April 15, 2015

Did a little change to the format tonight...  I opted to do an extended conversation with Terrible Ted and we talked at length about "Marriage".   He's been happily married for nearly three months and I wanted to hear him reflect on what that's been like...

Episode 14: 1994

Rollie Agado May 11, 2014

Spent three hours today recording a very special two part episode titled "1994" with Terrible Ted this afternoon.  1994 was arguably one of the best years in music in the 1990's, so we took to some to retrospectively revisit artists and albums that made impacts in our lives.

Ted is roughly 4 years than me and it was really interesting to hear how a number of albums were received while he was attending University of Michigan and I was able to weigh in on how they impacted me in High School.

A considerable amount of time was spent reviewing the playlist...   we originally had over 30 tracks and we worked that amount into a more manageable playlist of 18 songs that we've put together into two parts.

I hope you enjoy this as much as we did.

Note: a recording error finally occurred...  I forgot to turn Ted's microphone on in the last segment of Side B.  I've decided to not edit the error out...  I think its fair to put this out warts and all.

Episode 10 - Dead Front Men

Rollie Agado April 8, 2014

20 years ago today, I received word that Kurt Cobain had passed away.  The passing of a pop culture figure that had an impact on me and many of my friends.  I reached out to Terrible Ted and we put together a short list of Front Men who passed away before they reached their 30's.

I'm incredibly proud of how this show came out...  it's becoming a lot easier to record these things and you can tell that it's just Ted and I having a conversation.   I'm so fucking stoked about the upcoming theme shows I have coming down the pike.

Episode 8 - the Fuck Tape

Rollie Agado March 23, 2014

Recorded a very special Late Night Conversations episode this evening, "the Fuck Tape".   A collection of songs and stories regarding music you have sex to.  Please feel free to comment on this episode and even share songs or fuck tapes you've had in your lifetime.

Note:  I accidentally disconnected my Microphone during the 18 minute Iron Butterfly song so I've spared everyone from the drum solo on...  apologies to all.  The full track is in the embedded playlist below.

Episode 6 - the Terrible Ted incident

Rollie Agado March 17, 2014

Remember me saying that it wouldn't take all that long to crank out another episode of Late Night Conversations?  You're in for a very special treat this evening.  I contacted my dear friend Terrible Ted via VoIP and we quickly collaborated for an episode.

Terrible Ted and I used to participate in a podcast in many, many years ago for the show LOST.  Said episodes are on the net and not entirely hard to find, but I'm not going to go out of my way to direct people to them.  I dread actually hearing them after all these years...
