So I’m quickly approaching 2 weeks with my iPad Mini and I must say that I’m pretty happy with the new form factor.
I picked up an iPad 2 roughly a year ago and used it daily for both work and home.
It’s a shame that I’ll be one of the first to plunk down hard earned money for the Retina one in about 8 months.
Damn you Apple!

Saw the Raven this afternoon… a historical fiction movie about Edgar Allen Poe. The film ends (spoiler alert) with an actual event. Well, maybe a recreation of his supposed final moments in Baltimore.
I’m in the tank for John Cusack, so I looked forward to renting this when the movie came out earlier this year. Much to my surprise the film was a worthwhile watch.
Highly recommended for those who are too tired to think at the end of a very long day of work.
I somehow managed to exhaust my stock pile of “comfy” shirts I usually wear around the apartment.
Luckily, I had a Rally Bag that was given to me by some friends from Austin @ Rally De Los Muertos.
Another quiet night at home with Amos… he’s been unusually affectionate today. I think he’s really missing his comrade Elliot. If all goes well, Elliot will be bak with my parents when Joker finally delivers her baby.
Another late night at the office… stopped and picked up Datapoint tacos on the way home tho’.
Work has been a little unforgiving in recent days… staying a little late tonight to catchup/get ahead.
Election Night and if all goes well, I’ll go to bed in about an hour or so knowing that Obama has won the election.

Enjoying a relatively quiet night at home tonight… between little writing bursts for NaNoWriMo - I’ve been putting together little backgrounds for my Facebook Cover Photo.
Plan to have one for the election tomorrow and one featuring patches the day after.
Attended our quarterly Market Meeting early this morning… said meeting is more of a pep-rally than anything else.
The theme for this market meeting was “elections”.
