“One night me and Bill were fucking drunk and taking a piss together. I see this aerosol can and squirt his dick with it. He starts screaming and falls down. I look at the can and it says, WARNING: DO NOT SPRAY ON SKIN — HIGHLY TOXIC. I poisoned Bill through his dick!”
When you’re the only person at Starbucks and they get your name wrong, take it as a sign that the rest of your day will suck.
1.) Did not get home in time to pick up a package I needed to secure from my apartment complex front office.
2.) AC in my apartment blew a capacitor or fuse or temper… i forget what. Indoor temp was 89 degrees.
3.) Repair crews took over an hour to arrive… they did however bring my package.
4.) Said package was a self install kit for home phone. Something I’ll never use by the way, but guess what. It doesn’t fucking work. Spent 2 hours on the phone with TimeWarner trying to figure it out. I hung up on them… I simply don’t care.
5.) Ted fucking Cruz, a Tea Party nobody 6 months ago, just beat a Right Wing prick (David Dewhurst) who was a 14 year elected politician, former CIA official, Air Force pilot and an advocate for executing MINORS - because apparently he wasn’t RIGHT WING enough.
Ever have one of those workdays where everything seems to be plagued by foul starts? I arrived at the office an hour late, due to a horrific accident on I-35. My usual 20 minute commute took 1.5 hours, so I decided to stop for breakfast seeing how I was already late…
This naturally caused me to not really feel all that hungry at my regularly scheduled lunch hour, so I ended up stepping out for 20 minutes around 2:00pm today to sorta clear my head.
Stepped into a nearby Chipotle for a quick taco and drink… I had never read any of their printed materials until today.
In need of a dream interpreter
So… the past two nights have been plagued with what can best be described as “unpleasant” dreams. I hesitate to say “nightmares” because, nothing particularly bad happened outside of awaking in a calm but panic state.
So, what I need is someone out there to direct me to a dream interpreter. I’ve begun to have some reoccurring dreams and the variables are pretty much the same.
1.) I awake from the bad dreams about 2 hours into sleeping.
2.) I’ve been in a vehicle in both dreams. (driving in one dream, passenger in the other)
3.) There’s been inclement weather.
I don’t recall how the dreams start but the endings are very vivid. For example, in the first dream I’m in an unfamiliar car and I appear to be driving on 1604 and I’m about to take the I-10 exit. I know this only because the exit is very unique in the area…
Anyhoo, as I’m about to exit I can feel the front wheels slip under the car as in the wheels are not getting traction. It’s also really rainy out and I woke up shortly after this feeling better that it was only a dream.
Last night, I had a similar dream, except I seemed to be on the South Padre Island causeway, in route to Port Isabel. It wasn’t exactly the South Padre Island causeway tho’… it’s just the closest thing I can compare it to.
In this dream, I’m not driving but I’m in the car and I’m trying to make a flight. The only problem however is that it’s pouring outside and the water is collecting along the roadways to the point where the roads are being flooded. At some point, the car needs to make a sharp right and we pass right by it because of the flooding roadways. When we slowdown to throw the van in reverse, the van’s front wheels begin to spin and sorta get stuck just off the right side of the now flooding road.
I awake in seconds of the cars front wheels slipping along the water logged road.
So there you go…

As luck would have it, I just had a conversation with my sister about this very subject… I desperately want to see this documentary.
Journey to the Center of Hawkthorne
I’ll never admit how much time was lost playing “Journey to the Center of Hawkthorne” this morning, but I will highly encourage all fans of the show Community to download it and play.

Uncle duties called for me to get up unusually early this Sunday, so that I could help my sister with some heavy/baby purchases.
While out and about, I stopped by the toddler section and discovered a Caterpillar Rattle that I’m apparently barred from ever buying.
I thought getting a rise out of my sister was fun… now that she’s a hyper vigilant mom, its like twice the joy in pushing her buttons.

Scoot-a-que 15
Want to quickly plug another Scooter Rally before calling it a night… My friend Clark and his Columbus Scooter Gang - The CUTTERS - are throwing their annual scooter rally: Scoot-a-Que in late September!
Shortly after getting some of the artwork in for my Scooter Rally, both Clark and I were shocked to see that we were both doing Sugar Skull themes!
Anyhoo… if you’re in the Columbus area, register by clicking here.

Every now and again, I discover music on my own without the help of HRK. Want to quickly tip my own hat for digging this song by Bloody Beach.
It’s been out for a little while now but it’s new to me. Probably not new to HRK tho’.
She’s totally over it by now.
Another band I’m looking forward to seeing perform in San Antonio this fall…
A big thank you to HRK, who told me about this band and who also informed me that this band is amazing to catch live. Without her many insights in music, I would still be listening to Iron Maiden albums and growing out my hair to ridiculous lengths.
