When you’re the only person at Starbucks and they get your name wrong, take it as a sign that the rest of your day will suck.

1.) Did not get home in time to pick up a package I needed to secure from my apartment complex front office.

2.) AC in my apartment blew a capacitor or fuse or temper…  i forget what.  Indoor temp was 89 degrees.

3.) Repair crews took over an hour to arrive…  they did however bring my package.

4.) Said package was a self install kit for home phone. Something I’ll never use by the way, but guess what.  It doesn’t fucking work.  Spent 2 hours on the phone with TimeWarner trying to figure it out.  I hung up on them…  I simply don’t care.

5.) Ted fucking Cruz, a Tea Party nobody 6 months ago, just beat a Right Wing prick (David Dewhurst) who was a 14 year elected politician, former CIA official, Air Force pilot and an advocate for executing MINORS - because apparently he wasn’t RIGHT WING enough.

I don’t remember all of the beats but the last time I was in Seattle, I found myself inches from the anatomical body statue that was used on the Nirvana In Utero album cover. I snapped this picture quickly because I was both in a hurry and was
Did you know that STINSON Municipal Airport is the second oldest general aviation airport that has been in continuous operation in the United States? I’ve never stopped in for a proper visit until this afternoon and was surprised to see that y
As a newly minted member of the San Antonio Botanical Gardens, I was allowed to visit and bring Canelo for a morning visit.

When I look back on my formative pop-culture consumption years, I have a very soft spot for seeing shows on syndication. One show that was locally on syndication in the mid 80s was show called “Cheers”. A sitcom that wasn’t like an
