The day started well before the sun came up on Monday morning… my father woke up around 5 am to stir around the apartment and managed to turn on almost every light I have for good measure.
Packing up before going anywhere with my parents is always painful because they pack an insane amount of things when and where ever they travel.
I think we got out the door by 8 AM, but we had a few errands to run before getting down to the valley. The drive down was pretty pleasant. We talked about the weekend and what we would have for dinner Monday night…
When we got to my parents house I got my mom and dad to start watching the Wire. After 3 episodes my mom got totally hooked. I think she had about 8 theories on the show and the characters after watching the show. She was actually correct about one of them so she’s now convinced that the show will be easy to figure out.
The day grew to a close and we ended up going to Los Asado’s for dinner…
