Participated in my first ever (well properly played) Dungeons and Dragons game…  I received an invite to join a game that my friend Clayton was hosting (DMing?)  a few months ago and after many weeks/months we met up on the northwest side of town and I introduced my character “Percival” to the group.

My guy was drawn up before my arrival. I’m a barbarian of some kind… origins - Lodi, New Jersey.  According to my character sheet, I’m both strong and smart.

My fellow characters: Helvetica (A girl of some kind that from what I could gather is mischievous) and Reamus (A demon like thingy with priest like powers).

Our mission…  to take a Hell-spawn infant out of a city we’ve captured.  Like Hellboy (the comic) the child can bring the world to the end, but if he’s raised correctly he can do tremendous good.

In short… we managed to get out of the city, thanks to a set of sewers.  We fought a : Siege of Rats, Dire Rat, Giant Rat, Little Orc (who we skinned and turned into stuffed animal for the Hell-Spawn infant) and Ranger Orc.  I asked about taking his cod piece but Clay suggested I not take it as a trophy….

Anyhoo… we managed to escape the city and get the Hell-spawn baby to a witch called “Ewana”.  The game concluded and there’s talk of possibly getting together once again in about a month.

Hope to attend again.

My father would have turned 92 today. On this Easter eve, I treated my niece to an exhaustive day that included. Movies/Pinball/Meals/Shopping at the Domain/Record Stores/Uncommon Objects/Drug Church and White Reaper at the Mohawk.

Earlier in the week a friend reached out to alert me of a showing over at the Mercury Project. I’ve admittedly been a little reclusive lately so I took up the offer to see a friendly face and to once again get reacquainted with hand painted mo

This spot has a backdrop that includes a double murder that occurred in the area and tales of Satanic activity.
