Made it down to the Rio Grande Valley this morning to both visit my parents and relieve them of pet sitting duties, after traveling most of July.

I can’t remember the last time I made it down to the RGV, but on my way in I noticed a number of new things around town (off the freeway).

One of the nice things about coming back home is getting to relax in the bedroom I grew up in.  The room has changed completely since I was 17, but its relaxing nonetheless.

Another nice thing is getting to work on my old iMac.   A number of functions are pretty sluggish, but she still allows my parents to do the things they need to do online 10 years after I purchased it in Detroit.
