I can’t believe that my self portrait project officially winds down today…   I’ve been looking forward to this posting for a number of selfish reasons.   I’m looking forward to not having to worry about setting up a photo at the end of a long day if I hadn’t taken any pictures during the day…   I’m also looking forward to not feeling bad for not taking photos when I was out having a good time.

At some point tonight or tomorrow, I hope to pull out my 10 favorite pictures of 2012.  I recently discovered a few places that will allow me to bind and put together a hardbound book of all my photos and hopefully the journal entries of 2012.

To all my friends who have helped & supported me with incredible feedback throughout the year, I want to dedicate this project to you.

I thought about possibly doing a 365 Albums in 2013 project…   where I would listen to a record and write a review for it every day.  But I’m thinking about just taking 2013 off and focusing on work, time with my newborn niece and investing time into friends & new adventures.

I look forward to sitting down with more regularity to reflect on topics that aren’t exclusively me doing something silly or contrived.

besos,
El Rollie

When I look back on my formative pop-culture consumption years, I have a very soft spot for seeing shows on syndication. One show that was locally on syndication in the mid 80s was show called “Cheers”. A sitcom that wasn’t like an
