Want to quickly extend some Birthday Wishes to my best friend Chivo… He can be seen here, sitting rather uncomfortably after having a dinner with my family here in San Antonio over the weekend.
He’s just about to finish up with his Ph. D. at A&M and it was great to see him break away from his daily grind to have some laughs.
My heart nearly leapt out of my fucking chest when I heard about what happened at College Station today. I called Chivo, who happened to be working at his Chemistry lab when the shooting occurred and he informed me he wouldn’t be going anywhere until he received word it was ok to leave.
All is well with him this evening, I just heard he was back at the apartment making Pineapple Upside Down Shots.
