Had a 15 dollar gift card that was set to expire at Best Buy this week… so I decided to visit my local store front in hopes of picking up something I’ve been wanting to add to my small movie library.

I had hoped to find a copy of the movie SUNSHINE on Blue-Ray but Best Buy goes out of their way to not carry movies that have been out for more than 9 months.

I hoped to find the Dark Knight Returns (part 1 and 2) but I couldn’t find the pair in the same format…

I then turned my attention to The Social Network…  a movie that I’ve been meaning to buy for some time, but haven’t that too was not on the shelves.

I then considered picking up an album and discovered that their music section is now non-existant.

I decided to pick up Perks of Being a Wallflower.  I’ve rented it 4 times this year and I’ll likely watch it again at some point this summer.

Thanks for nothing Best Buy…

When I look back on my formative pop-culture consumption years, I have a very soft spot for seeing shows on syndication. One show that was locally on syndication in the mid 80s was show called “Cheers”. A sitcom that wasn’t like an
