Fright Night (the Original 1985) has always had a soft spot in my heart… Along with the LOST BOYS and Once Bitten - it was an 80’s vampire movie that was great to see when it was on cable tv.
When I read that it was going to get remade, I sorta cringed at first, but I kept an open mind about seeing it.

The film is a total reboot of the original. The storyline is sorta similar in that - the neighbor (Colin Farrell) is the vampire, but he’s a total cheese dick.
Peter Vincent is a little cooler in this remake.. they somehow got the guy who played Dr. Who (David Tennant) and he was really fun to watch.
