A few weeks ago my friend Heather in the Bronx sent me a little link to a “free summer sampler” of an artist we both used to follow closely by the name of Josh Rouse.
He’s a singer song writer who was a favorite of mine when I seemed to listen to a lot of similar singer song writers like Ron Sexsmith, Elliot Smith and Ryan Adams.
But I digress, Heather let me know that he put out a little "Summer Sampler" on a website called Noisetrade (which you can get for FREE if you hit up this link) that had some of his better known tracks.
Of the bunch - I wanted to quickly share “Winter in the Hamptons” which is performed LIVE at the Shepherds Bush Empire. It reminds me a little bit of the Cure.
