BiergartenI attended my first ever Wurstfest last night with Rhiannon... I thought I attended one several years ago but discovered I attended an Octoberfest in San Antonio.Spent a healthy amount of time in the Biergarten last night and filled my head with a number of incredible memories that will last a lifetime.
Lets talk about SausageIf you're a purveyor of meats on stick, you need to book yourself a spot at Wurstfest next year. You can't walk very far without running across someone selling you a sausage of some kind to feast on.I snagged something that went by the name of Wurstkabob. It featured 5 different kinds of sausages on a stick... Rhiannon's about to dine on a Bratwurst pocket. Our expressions of glee are 100% genuine.
Wurstfest Collage In addition to the eats, music, funny hats and beer... Wurstfest has a number of carnival rides to check out. We naturally hopped on one and snapped a number of pics so we can look back on this day fondly.
CrowdsDespite unfriendly weather conditions outside... festivities were in full swing inside.
Drink TicketsOne of things I dislike most about open air festivals is having to buy tokens and drink tickets...This however is a necessary evil and as you can see in the captured photo... we kinda went all in.
