3 Double-0 NineH-E-B opened their first "restaurant" in rural San Antonio a few weeks ago... we stopped in to see what all the fuss was about.H-E-B has a number of eateries in their "Central Markets" - so I anticipated it to be similar in execution... After dining in last night, I can report that it's unique dining experience and it separates itself nicely from it's grocery storefront. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again, but its kinda nice to have a full belly before getting groceries. It prevents me from purchasing more things than I should.
3009Much to my surprise, the tacos al pastor were actually quite delicious. Rhiannon had turkey and ribs and she seemed pretty happy with her dinner selection.The menu has a number of other things I would try if we ever stop in again...
