Kennedy Space CenterOne of the best excursion options we picked up was the Kennedy Space Center tour when we got off the boat. I'm kinda kicking myself for never visiting NASA in Houston, but I plan to address that within the Calendar Year.
NASAOne of my favorite things about Rhiannon is her deep dorky passion for all things deep space. Her father grew up in Huntsville, Alabama so she got her love of NASA through him. I'm old enough to remember the space program - targeting kids in school to become Space Nerds.
AtlantisHands down, the best part of visiting the Kennedy Space Center is getting to check out Atlantis. There's a "reveal" of sorts before you get to actually see the craft and it nearly brought me to tears.
