Section 101Prior to the start of the 2014-2015 season, Rhiannon asked to attend 5 Spurs games. She didn't care what 5 games we attended, but simply asked that we attend 5 games. As luck would have it, I happen to have a friend who is a season ticket holder and she was kind enough to reach out and let me know she couldn't attend a home game on Thanksgiving Eve.This allowed Rhiannon and I to catch the SPURS in section 101 the other night and witnessed them defeat the Indiana Pacers.
Mi Taco #4Prior to tip off, we knew we wanted to eat something that wasn't prepared at the AT&T Center so we drove down 78 in hopes of stopping at Bayseas.Bayseas was closed in observation of Thanksgiving Eve - so we stopped at Mi Taco #4. A food truck that shares a parking lot with a drive thru liquor stop. While there we also got some Michilada mix that allowed us to get our ethnic drink on.
Los Spurs FansI don't know why it's so hard for me to root for the Spurs... It may have something to do with being a die-hard Bulls fan, but I truly don't have a reason to not root for a team in the West.I can't help but feel that the fan base here is equal parts unrealistic and unsophisticated... which is really perplexing because the Spurs are a model franchise from top to bottom. When its all said and done, I will likely pledge my allegiance to the sliver and black to satisfy my better half.
