Hints of Echo & the Bunnymen can be heard throughout the record…  it also kinda reminds me a little bit of the Trembling Blue Stars.

The track “Only Heather” is one of the sweetest crush songs I’ve heard in recent memory…  I may need to crush on someone named Heather soon and put this on a Mix.

2012 Top 10 Albums of the Year: #10) The Tins"Life’s a Gas”

I forget how I stumbled across this album… but clearly recall hearing it the first time while working on an unforgivable assignment in a dimly lit office at work.

My attraction to the Tins was immediate because of how familiar they were to the ear…   It was like hearing a stripped down New Pornographers band and James Mercer (the Shins) on vocals.   Well to me at least…
