Henry just got the cards from his printer friend, for tomorrow’s Poker Run and they look amazing. I just confirmed I’m getting to keep a set for my private collection.
So stoked. Be jealous.
ahhh… the time honored tradition of stuffing rally bags. My sister’s employer (State Farm) is providing the bags and friends have come over to help me stuff goodies before tomorrow’s rally.
Rally Shirts arrived today… counting the shirts down to confirm I have the correct amount in every size.
The shirts look amazing too. Big ups to RushOrderTees for all their help, in getting us a great price and assuring they would be here in time.
Did something very stupid last night… I cap most of my evenings with a cold glass of milk. I don’t really know why I do this, but it’s one of those things I’ve done since I was a little kid.
Amos decided to investigate my glass… he took a few sips and I removed him from my glass.
I then decided to drink the rest of the milk and my cat allergies flared up and my throat felt like shit.
Days have gone by and I still haven’t updated my tumblr site… I seem to only have 20 minutes at the end of the day to do some light correspondence. This rally is really eating up my life.
With Elliot down at my parents house for the next couple of weeks, I video chat rather frequently with my mom.
It’s freaky how much communication has changed in the past 10 years…
Made it out to Torchy’s in Austin today… I got to both meet up with my friend Elana and I also picked up some special prizes (Fleshlights) for our scooter rally.
Torchy’s was surprisingly good.
Met up with Joker for Dinner tonight… it’s the first time we’ve seen each other since her hospital visit.
It’s really weird sitting across from her and hearing about her bizarre diet. The little things mothers have to do, before giving birth.
Made an unusual office purchase today… I’ve decided to pick up a drinking glass, so that I can have iced drinks at the office.
This will also help me cut down on using disposable cups so I’m keeping it green too.
Made it out to Kennedy’s to catch Tigers/Yankees - but the game was called on account of rain… Squeezed in a few drinks and a number of laughs with Jose tho’, so it was a pretty good night none-the-less.
