Hoodie weather is officially here in San Antonio… I busted out my trusty Rovers Hoodie and explained to Chivo why this is my favorite day of the year.
Chivo and I just got back from Whataburger and a late afternoon screening of Looper.

Work day mornings are really hard on Amos for some reason… he see’s me getting ready and he decides to get really lovey on me for some reason.
Prior to leaving for work today, I decided to take some time and explain to him why Texas should acknowledge Tom Landry’s birthday and declare it a state wide day off.
I’m dressed up in the Dallas gear for a “tailgate” we’re doing at work.
While out running errands with Zissou, I set foot into a Claires for the first time in nearly 20 years.
The place in the Mall where kids get jewelry… and possibly the birthplace of every ill-advised ear piercing.
Well, I discovered that the store is now a Hello-Kitty store front of sort. Much to my surprise, there’s a Kiss/Hello Kitty line of stuff now.

When I received an invite to attend a going away lunch for a former co-worker yesterday, I didn’t think I would be able because I wouldn’t be able to get away from work.
I got the ok to go and I’m really glad I made it a point to attend. I can’t believe how much I missed the shared laughter of my old work place.
After having my immediate family live literally out of suitcases all around me for nearly a week… I’m spending a quiet night at home listening to podcasts and taking care of both Elliot and Amos.
Flouta night is in full effect at my apartment this evening. Tonight is the last night that my parents are in town and they’re making my sisters favorite dish. Capping off a birthday weekend for her…
