A couple of weeks ago I replaced my copy of Cowboy Bebop (Anime series) on DVD and I’m thinking about watching it (again) from beginning to end starting this weekend.
I think it’s been about 8 years since I’ve binge watched it and after San Japan, I’ve been getting that itch to see Spike & the gang do their thing again…
One of the nice things about raising a plant, is being surprised by the changes that occur with it ever 4 or 5 days. For example, these little white flowers (i don’t know what they are) bloomed between waterings.
I thought the plant was done giving me surprises when the leaves turned red a few weeks ago. I wonder what Matilda will do next.
Much to my surprise… my DVR has decided to not record tonights episode of Breaking Bad, so I’m left doing some late night reading on the iPad before bed.
As luck would have it, a showing is running in about an hour so I’m taping that for tomorrow….

Ever woken up from a few hours of drunken sleep, amazed to find that you don’t have any ill effects from the night before?
This happened Saturday, but I still had a lot of chores to knock out including an oil change in Midtown.
Took Elliot with me and that resulted in me having to keep him from winding himself into the park benches outside of the Gunn Nissan dealership.
Dominoes and Drinking… it’s been a long week and I can’t think of a better way to unwind.

Packed up my office today, so that I could move over to some new offices that were just built at our corporate office.
I don’t really have a lot of personal things at work, but I have made it a point to try and bring more personal things in tho’. I’ve brought in some artwork and I’ve recently purchased some toys to help distract me when I get stressed.
Here’s a great example of something I keep around when I get worked up.
On any given day… I’ll often surf the internet in search of the perfect Hoody or Messenger bag. Not in any particular order… but I’m always in search of an awesome hoody or messenger bag.
Well, today - me’thinks I found a new messenger bag for the fall.
I may hold out and have someone pick this up for my birthday tho’
Writers block is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone… wait I take that back, there was a stretch of years where I wished it on Ani Difranco, who seemed by all accounts to just release records every couple of months.
To help break the block, I’ve picked up the guitar and strummed along to a few Oasis songs I haven’t heard in a while…
It’s so weird hearing “Don’t Look Back in Anger” nearly 20 years after its release and still be blown away by how beautifully this track is produced.
I mean, it doesn’t really transport me to High School - it’s just something I can have on in the background and just obsess about how fucking good it sounds.
