Recently had my potato chip stock, refilled by Chivo who came down to San Antonio for the weekend.
A week ago, he stopped by in the middle of the week… helped himself to a bag of chips I had, nearly finished them and he decided to blow the bag up with air so that it would appear full.
I teased him about this and in return he filled the lake so to speak…

You gotta love it when the day completely goes unscripted… I was supposed to make it out to catch a screening of the Avengers (still haven’t seen it), but the line was terrible, so I attended my first ever gun-show.
I’m not a fan of guns… and find people who openly express their desire to have a private arsenal a little alarming.
I still however wanted to see what it was like. I don’t read comic books, but I enjoy going to comic book shows and hoped it would be the same.
In defense of the gun-show… it couldn’t possibly represent what a decent gun show is like. I sorta expected more offerings of Jerky and better knife selections.
That said, it did have a lot of guns and it had a lot of stuff I figured I would run into… Nazi flags, Zombie paper shooting targets, exploding targets and lots of fire arms.
Much to my surprise, a lot of guns are made of very hard plastic. Mainly the handles, but there were triggers made of plastic and other parts of the gun I can’t name, that I had assumed were of a material that wasn’t plastic. My guess, is that this is to help the heat from shooting a gun?
With 30 minutes to kill before catching God of Carnage over at the Attic Rep, I’ve made it over to the Bombay Bicycle Club to have drinks with friends….
Drinks are pretty cheep and they have a chili-pepper tequila on tap.
The weather is taking a nasty turn in San Antonio… afternoons temps reach the mid 90’s so walking Elliot around 8pm is becoming more and more of the norm. One of the nice things about walking around Live Oak, is the street lighting.
A week ago, I decided to visit my local target and pick up a little Vornado Fan for my home office. It gets unusually warm, in that corner of the apartment so I wanted something to help pass the time when I’m working at home.
The little fan was a hit, so I decided to take fan to my work office and I picked up a second one (in a different color) for my home office.
While picking up a second fan, i got a 3rd fan for my bedroom… if you see these - they’re worth the 15 bucks
I’m in dire need of having more of these work distractions…
