I got to play with a Moog in person (once) about 6 years ago when my roommate Jaime had his cousin Will come up to Detroit for a music festival (NxNW) in Toronto.
I’ve never had so much fun emitting noise outward and thought to myself - I could get one of these and never want to put it down.
I picked up a Moog app for my iPad a few months ago and while I don’t play with it very often, I will drop the occasional hour or two if I launch the application.
Netflix recently showcased a documentary, titled : MOOG - and I picked it as the thing to watch before the Superbowl this afternoon.
The film isn’t so much a documentary about the Moog… it doesn’t really touch on people (artists/bands) who have utilized it either. It’s a tribute of sorts to Dr. Robert Moog and his contribution to music.
All in all, it’s a pretty forgettable flick…
