Debra Hope?

Am I alone in thinking Hope Solo looks like Debra Morgan from Dexter at times? I wish she had the same potty mouth.

One of my favorite things about this record was that the Record Time in Ferndale, Michigan used to have this record sleeve - as a part of their OPEN/CLOSE sign at one of the entrances of the store.

Recovering the Satellites

What I remember most about this Counting Crows record was listening to it for the very first time my Freshman year of college portable discman I had @ a computer lab in the Chemistry Building of University Detroit Mercy…

Just listened to “You are the Quarry” for the first time in ages… had a number of good memories swell into my head from beginning to end as I remembered the first time I ever listened to this album here in San Antonio.

Of all the bands I saw this past Thursday, the one I’m most looking forward to catching again are the Moriatys.   Found this track online the other day…  I think they have a proper full length that is about to be released.  I’ll post details on it as soon as they become available.

The Generationals - Live @ the Karova

Made it out this past Thursday to the Karova to catch the Generationals here in San Antonio, picked up an EP, had some drinks with friends and discovered a new local act that I’m eager to catch again by the name of the Moriartys.

There was something great about the feel in the room this past Thursday night…  it’s a little hard to describe but I captured a little bit of it on film.
