Memory Palace will always have a soft spot in my heart for being the record I wanted to share with everyone on my blog before the Summer kinda got away from me and my Album a Day project went to shit.

Stone Cold Fox sorta has a Generationals, Foxtrot and Britt Daniel of Spoon kinda feel to it... this album dropped right before the start of the summer and I remember thinking that this was going to soundtrack my Summer after launching STORIS.

I ended up falling in love and the soundtrack to my summer took another turn... I kinda wonder what would have happened to this record and how I would think back on it if I listened to it all throughout the summer, fall and winter? I think it would have influenced me to listen to albums with a similar pop toot sensibility and I think my top 10 would look incredibly different.

This album has amazing potential within it and I suspect I'm going to be hearing deep cuts from it on Movie Soundtracks in the years to come.
