You gotta love it when the day completely goes unscripted…  I was supposed to make it out to catch a screening of the Avengers (still haven’t seen it), but the line was terrible, so I attended my first ever gun-show. I’m not a fan of guns… and find people who openly express their desire to have a private arsenal a little alarming. I still however wanted to see what it was like.   I don’t read comic books, but I enjoy going to comic book shows and hoped it would be the same. In defense of the gun-show… it couldn’t possibly represent what a decent gun show is like.  I sorta expected more offerings of Jerky and better knife selections. That said, it did have a lot of guns and it had a lot of stuff I figured I would run into…  Nazi flags, Zombie paper shooting targets, exploding targets and lots of fire arms. Much to my surprise, a lot of guns are made of very hard plastic.  Mainly the handles, but there were triggers made of plastic and other parts of the gun I can’t name, that I had assumed were of a material that wasn’t plastic.  My guess, is that this is to help the heat from shooting a gun?
