So…  attempts to watch the Dark Knight Rises just after dinner were foiled thanks to sell-out crowds at my nearest Alamo Draft House. Tickets were secured for a late night showing and this allowed me and some friends to visit 3 separate bars and visit a Target to purchase some things to regret later when we sobered up. My drunken purchase was this 25th anniversary of the Last Star Fighter.  A movie that I’ve never seen without commercial interruption, but felt compelled to own it in 3 file formats for the price of $9.99. I’m pretty sure I came out a loser on this one… Both Michelle and her sister Elizabeth purchased some movies of their own.  American Psycho, Beerfest and the Dark Knight were all secured on Blu-Ray because it was the drunken thing to do. Things we opted to leave on the shelf:  A bottle of red wine we considered drinking in a dark parking lot an hour before the movie started. In retrospect…  I think we should have gone with the Malbec.
